Steinberger Wine Night……

You bring the wine, we bring the appetizer or meal or vice versa

About three weeks ago we decided to take one night a week and enjoy a new bottle of wine.

This night has become more than an excuse to have a glass of wine.  It has been a time to relax, let go and laugh, education one another and just be ourselves and have a good time.

Our guidelines?    Well ….Maybe just a few.

  • No more than 2 bottles of wine
  • Wine night winds down before 11 closer to 10.
  • Must be a Steinberger or related to one or invited by one.
  • We make up the rest of the guidelines as we go.

Wine is constant proof God loves us and loves to see us happy.

Tuesday August 28, 2012:             “Reds Tonight”

Bottle One:                   Jacob’s Creek Shiraz  vintage 2008 Barossa                (Austraila)

DFS: Best Shiraz he has ever had
LAS:  Enjoyed its taste, nice finish no after taste
LES: Too much bite for the label description

Bottle Two:                 Avalon Cabernet Sauvignon vintage 2010
 (California)

DFS: Not a Cab Fan...Okay
LAS:  Too heavy, smoky
LES: Rich flavor, smooth

The evening was a success we talked to Abby, Lauren Ashley applied for several jobs, we all agreed to try a new pillow talk, and don’t drop a yearbook on your foot….it hurts!

Until next week…..Bring on the Games!
